The Wackenhut ASA was developed to monitor the location and movement of security personnel and to help a central office assure their safety. The rugged, splash proof injection molded casework design allows for operation of the keys with gloved hands and for easy, on the fly replacement of the battery. The display window was recessed to reduce the likelihood of scratching should the unit be placed face down on a rough surface.
